Veneto a region covered in hills, valleys, rivers and canals is most popular for the regions romantic capital, Venice. Which is city like no other, filled with art, history, food and its unique form of only transportation Gondolas and boats. Once you leave the busy tourist populated Venice you have two completely different geography's allowing for both red wine and white wines to be produced. Although Veneto produces more D.O.C. white wines than red, they have truly made a name for varietals such as Amarone and Valpolicella world wide.
